I was officially ten weeks pregnant yesterday! (: I am so happy to have made it this far into my pregnancy, and I’m so happy that (even literally right after a miscarriage) everything is going so well and the baby is so healthy. The weeks are actually going by a lot faster than it seems they are. The morning sickness is finally gone! I’ll get sick every once in a while, but it’s certainly not what it used to be. I also understand a little more now that keeping myself fed with healthy food makes a huge difference.
After watching Forks Over Knives, Andrew and I are considering a strictly plant based diet. We’d still eat meat every now and then, but more sparingly like Asians generally use in their dishes: a little meat goes a long way. I also want to cut down on my dairy intake, but I love milk, cheese, cream cheese, yogurt… Especially cheese. We’ll construct some kind of modified version of this diet though. It seems it would be a lot healthier.
I am happy and I cannot wait to meet our little one. (:
